As a result of the great variety of coffees produced by its members, each year the Brazil Speciality Coffee Association (BSCA)offers an espresso blend made from some of the finest lots produced by its member farms. This blend is created by a team of the BSCA's professional cuppers, carefully mixed to enhance body, aroma and natural sweetness.
The 2021 harvest blend recipe is made up of Natural and pulped lots from a single estate.
At the Santa Cruz farm, it is always been their priority to to produce high quality coffee through excellent methods, practice and production. The team want to stand out in the Minas region, where coffee is the most important agricultural activity.
The estate is connected through many eco paths, helping local fauna to move around the property and the flora to evolve. Some 400,000 trees have also been planted across the property to further encourage wildlife. Water saving is also important at Fazenda Santa Cruz. The farm has a biodigester to treat residual water, which is used in the washing coffee process. Following WHO's guidelines, the lab run analysis on the water quality to ensure it meets their impeccable standards.
